Barry Bennell has been charged with eight offences of sexual assault against a boy under the age of 14.

It follows two weeks of accusations against the former football coach in a scandal which has rocked English football.

Meanwhile Chelsea have become the latest club to announce they are investigating claims of historical sexual abuse.

They concern an individual at the club in the 1970’s.
