A Kerry Sinn Féin Councillor says he’s not in favour of changing the party’s stance on going into government as a minority partner.
Sinn Féin has the third highest number of Dáil seats at 23, behind Fine Gael’s 50 and Fianna Fáil’s 44.
Prior to the election, Sinn Féin said they’d only go into government if they were the lead partner, saying they wouldn’t prop up the two main political parties.
Sinn Féin Councillor for the South and West Kerry Municipal District Damien Quigg is against any change in the party’s position.
