The crib in Tralee town centre has again been vandalised.
It is the second time this month the nativity scene has been targeted.
Tralee Gardai say they are investigating damage caused to the Perspex windows on the front of the crib, which is located in the Square.
They are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area overnight to contact them.
The damage has since been repaired.
Earlier this month, Kerry County Council had to fix the Perspex windows and the statue of St Joseph when it was damaged.
A man later contacted Gardai to claim responsibility for that incident.
Also this month, on two separate occasions the lights on the Christmas tree in the Square were extensively damaged by vandals.
The cost of the repairs was over two thousand euro.
