Listenership to Radio Kerry has increased once again.
Radio listenership figures released today show that the station’s market share has increased from 50.3 to 52.3%. This is higher than the market share of competitors such as RTE 1, 2FM, Today FM, Newstalk and Spin SW combined. 83,000 people or 71% of radio listeners in the county listen to Radio Kerry on a weekly basis.
The figures have been welcomed by station General Manager Fiona Stack who thanked listeners and advertisers for their continued support.
She said that the results covered the period in which the station provided comprehensive coverage of storms earlier this year, and the local and European election campaigns and counts in May. Ms Stack said she hopes that Radio Kerry will continue to be a means by which the people of Kerry can tell and archive their own story.
