Staff and listeners of Radio Kerry took almost 10 hours to complete a virtual Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle on July 1st.

25 cyclists made up of Radio Kerry’s listeners and staff began at ten past seven at Radio Kerry in Tralee and Ireland international rugby player Siobhan Fleming, from Currow brought Team RK over the finish line just before 5pm.

The bike was attached to a turbo trainer, and supplied by O’Sullivan’s Cycles in Killarney.

The cyclists took approximately nine hours and 50 minutes to complete the 180 km circuit, which will be cycled for real by 9000 cyclists this Saturday.

All donations were presented to the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle nominated charities.
